The Eastern Cape Department of Agriculture held a successful agricultural show today at Komani in the Chris Hani District, following two shows in the Amathole and OR Tambo Districts. An elated MEC, Nonceba Kontsiwe said she was pleased that the revival of the agricultural shows was gaining momentum.
“These shows are a demonstration of the tireless work of our farmers. I am pleased to say the shows’ revival has gained momentum and farmers are excited to show their production strength.”
The Agricultural Shows have proven to be a gathering where farmers not only show off their agricultural products but as an information sharing session where farmers are empowered to reach more support and markets.
