The MEC for Agriculture in the Eastern Cape, Nonceba Kontsiwe attended a grain harvest day at Try Again Farm in Ongeluksnek, Matatiele today. This after the farm achieved a remarkable harvest, yielding 10.5 to 12 tons of grain per hectare from 100 hectares. The success is attributed to collaborative farming efforts among local grain farmers.
MEC Kontsiwe praised the farmers’ hard work and dedication. The achievement is seen as a model for sustainable agriculture and a testament to the potential of collective action in driving growth and improving food security in the province
