The Chris Hani District Extension and Advisory Services (EAS) Awards and Women Entrepreneur Awards were held today at the Whittlesea Multi-Purpose Hall, celebrating the remarkable contributions of women and agricultural officials who continue to drive growth, innovation, and development in the agricultural sector.
Women farmers and agripreneurs were recognised for their hard work and dedication, with VLR Meats taking top honours as the overall winner for its outstanding contribution to agriculture.
Extension and Advisory Services officials were also rewarded across various categories, showcasing the vital role they play in supporting farmers and strengthening agricultural productivity throughout the district.
The prestigious event was graced by District Director Dr Dlova, EAS Director Ms Nqeno, and other key stakeholders, who joined in acknowledging excellence, commitment, and the positive impact being made within the sector.
